Selected manuscripts from the collection of HIS HIGHNESS SHEIKH DR. SULTAN BIN MOHAMMED ALQASIMI
The main room of the House of Manuscripts contains a permanent exhibition, which includes a selection of the most valuable manuscripts and historical documents collected by HIS HIGHNESS SHEIKH DR. SULTAN BIN MOHAMMED ALQASIMI, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, during his visits to various countries of the world and submitted to the House of Islamic Manuscripts. The oldest of which dated back to the first Hijri century, a handwritten Quran in the calligraphy has restored and preserved over the years.
The jewel of the exhibition is a replica of Holy Quran attributed to Othman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, and this copy is found in its original version in the Museum of Qubi Saray in Istanbul. It has been known worldwide. According to documentary monitoring of this copy, it is found that Quran was preserved in the precious bookcase in Cairo, and then gifted by the Governor of Egypt, Muhammad Ali Pasha, to the Ottoman Sultan Mahmud II in 1226 AH / 1811 AD. This rare copy has been preserved in the Qub Qubi Palace since the date of the collection of sacred trusts.

Spanish documents condemning groups of the Spanish people for their offense towards Muslims of Andalusia dating back to the period between 1530 and 1610 AD
Rare manuscripts presented by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi on the occasion of the inauguration of the Islamic Manuscripts House. They are Spanish manuscripts of the orders of the kings of Spain and the Inquisition, which ruled the death, christianization and the sale of sons and daughters of Muslims, and expelled them from Andalusia (Spain), and they date back to the period between 1530 AD, and 1610, a tragedy period Muslims of Andalusia.
His Highness recorded and dated this tragedy and Muslims’ suffering in Andalusia in his book (I condemn) issued by Al Qasimi publications in 2017. After being translated from Spanish into Arabic and studied, 10 documents were selected from which they condemned various Spanish people, whether they are kings, judges, a church, or a group of people; crimes they had done in this period against Muslims of Andalusia after a truce state for a period of time, and after the signing of the two catholic kings on the Treaty of Granada of Abu Abdullah on November 25, 1491, corresponding to 21 Muharram in 897 AH, which provided the handover of Granada, and the protection of the Muslim faith of the people of Granada and their property and money. Most of the crimes committed against Muslims began after that treaty, known as the Inquisition.
